We will be holding our Hallowe’en Assembly on Monday, October 31st at 1:30pm in our school gymnasium. The Assembly will have a safety theme, and be led by our Student Leadership Team. Students will be able to wear their costumes for the afternoon of Hallowe’en, and part of the Assembly will involve a costume parade in the gymnasium so that the students can show off their costumes! We hope that you can join us!
A few reminders to ensure that the time around Hallowe’en is enjoyable and safe for all of our students and staff:
- students in costume should be easily recognizable and/or identify themselves to any staff when asked.
- the possession of firecrackers or fireworks at school is strictly prohibited. This applies to students before, during and after school.
- Replica weapons (guns, knives etc.) are not appropriate as part of costumes as per our School Code of Conduct.
- Students are to conduct themselves appropriately and behaviours which intimidate, or harass members of the community or other behaviours which are inappropriate at the expense of others, do not contribute to a fun, festive and safe environment.
We thank you for your assistance in reinforcing these guidelines with your children.
